How long does a bathroom renovation take in Mimico?

Do you pull permits for Mimico renovations?

What waterproofing system do you use?
We are Schluter-certified. Every shower we build uses Schluter Kerdi membrane on the walls, Kerdi-Shower-Pan or a properly sloped mud bed, and Kerdi-Drain. This is the industry gold standard and what prevents the leaks behind walls that we see in 15+ year old bathrooms when we tear them out.
Can you do a curbless walk-in shower in an older Mimico home?
In most cases, yes. We need to assess the subfloor and joist depth to make sure we can recess the drain assembly. For older Mimico homes with thinner subfloors, sometimes a low (3/4 inch) curb is the better engineering choice. We tell you on the site visit.
Do you work in condos and new builds (Humber Bay Shores)?
Yes. We renovate the builder-grade bathrooms in many of the newer Mimico subdivisions. Common upgrades include swapping the standard fiberglass tub-shower for a tiled walk-in shower, replacing the builder vanity with a custom or semi-custom unit, and adding heated floors.
Are you insured? Is your work warrantied?
We are fully insured, WSIB covered, and incorporated. Labour comes with our written warranty. Fixtures and tile carry their respective manufacturer warranties (Moen, Riobel, Kohler, MAAX, etc.) which we register on your behalf when we install.
